The last message to this list indicated that in order to enter the 
convention for free GMs had to register their games before the last week 
in December.

This was not correct.  As in other years, GMs are eligible for free 
admission to MD7 up until a few weeks prior to the convention.  The last 
week December was only the deadline for getting your game listed in the 
pre-registration book.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and encourage GMs to 
register their events on our web site:  http://www.wmgg.org/
