Subject: Lunch with Dr. Hilary Godwin

Dear Department Chairs:

The Chemistry department has invited Dr. Hilary Godwin to campus on
February 17 (see attached document).  Dr. Godwin, a graduate from
Stanford University who complete a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns
Hopkins University School of Medicine, currently serves as chair of
the Environmental Health Sciences Department in UCLA's School of
Public Health.   As a public health faculty member, her research
focuses on ways to work with communities to prevent the toxic
effects of exposure to lead.

Lew Pyenson, dean of the Graduate College, is inviting interested
graduate students (students only) to lunch with Dr. Godwin on
February 17 at Saffron's on West Main.  Please make this opportunity
known to your grad students and ask them to call (269) 387-8212 if
they are interested in a free lunch with Dr. Godwin.  (NOTE:  They
must RSVP!)
