DEF CON

DEF CON - The largest underground hacking event in the world. The acronym stands for defense readiness condition (DEFCON) Originally started in 1993, it was a meant to be a part for member of "Platinum Net", a Fido protocol based hacking network out of Canada. DEF CON is generally in the last week of July or first week of August in Las Vegas.
